VIDEO: How Ege Carpets enable total design freedom

How does the way we produce our marine carpets give you total design freedom for your marine project?

According to René Dupont, Senior Director, Ege Carpets have a couple of concepts involving different systems of production.

The first – the Colortec concept – uses pre-dyed yarn with 80% wool content. René Dupont says:

"Within this concept, you can design on a 'one yarn – one colour' basis. As a single colour is used for every single yarn, the concept offers a completely unrestricted colour range."

It also enables total freedom to design individualised carpets for your marine project.

The same yarn, René Dupont continues, is used in Ege Carpets' Graphic concept which is an optimum solution for small pattern repeats. These qualities are offered with laminated backings to reduce their weight and optimise pattern match from roll to roll.

Then there’s the dye-injected concept, called Highline. This concept, says René Dupont, is a fast-track system and offers full design flexibility. Ege Carpets produces these customisable carpets in both 80/20 wool-nylon mix and 100% nylon, as both broadloom and carpet tiles. All of these options are IMO certified.

These are two ways in which Ege Carpets produce marine carpets where time and the environment are crucial factors.
